<image:title>Courtney Bio - Dr. Courtney Trocinski OTD, OTR/L</image:title>
<image:caption>Courtney is a doctor of occupational therapy, certified birth doula, and childbirth educator, specializing in women’s pelvic health. She studied psychology at Elon University and then completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis. Courtney founded OWN Your Pelvic Health in 2021 with the belief that care should be holistic, collaborative, and trauma-informed. OWN was created to intentionally blend the strengths of occupational therapy and physical therapy, informed by Courtney’s experience supporting people through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. She envisioned a space where pelvic health providers work as a team, where clients feel heard and educated, and where care extends beyond the treatment room into daily life, relationships, and long-term wellbeing. Beyond the clinic walls, Courtney is deeply committed to community outreach, education, and access to care. She is also the founder of The OWN Project, a nonprofit arm of the clinic created to reduce financial barriers to high-quality pelvic floor therapy and doula services, and to expand pelvic health education within the Denver community. At the heart of Courtney’s work is a commitment to building a collective space where women’s health is prioritized, conversations are normalized, and people feel supported in returning not just to function, but to themselves. When she’s not geeking out over pelvic health, she loves spending time cooking, baking and being outside with her family. She is always reading the latest research, taking new coursework and prides herself in providing expert, trauma-informed, evidence-based care. While she’s the pelvic health expert, she knows YOU are your own expert, and her approach is collaborative to encourage ownership of your healing process. <image:title>Jenny Bio - Jenny Kramer</image:title>
<image:caption>Jenny Kramer is a mother of two and a Postpartum Doula trained by DONA International. Before the birth of her first child, she felt well-equipped and confident in her upcoming role as a parent. She believed that her transition into motherhood would align with what she had always imagined. Although caring for her baby came naturally, she still found herself overwhelmed. From a difficult recovery to nursing challenges and sleep deprivation, everything was so much harder than she had thought it would be. Even with the loving support of family and friends, she still felt blindsided by her new reality. Sadly, at that time she had no idea that postpartum doulas existed. At this point, she made it her personal mission to help support and educate friends and family members who became parents after her. In that way, she’s been working as a doula ever since. Jenny has always loved helping those around her - caring for friends and family when they are sick, cooking comforting and nourishing food, or simply just being there for them when they needed someone to listen. She has been helping care for babies and children since she was very young, working as a babysitter and camp counselor. As an adult, it was always a joy for her to be able to help her friends care for their babies, long before it was her profession. She’s here to provide support that embraces the beautiful diversity within families, acknowledging their unique backgrounds, cultures and traditions. Her goal is to create an inclusive space where every family feels welcomed, valued for who they are, and empowered to continue caring for their family after she has left their home. Jenny’s family recently embarked on a journey of their own, moving from New York to Colorado. When she’s not working, she enjoys taking advantage of everything their new home here in Denver has to offer. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, cooking together, going to see live music, and exploring their new city.</image:caption>

<image:title>Brittani Bio - Brittani (she/her) is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and longtime Registered Nurse, spending over a decade caring for the pediatric/NICU/women's health population. She owns and operates The Milk Academy, a private practice aimed at supporting infant feeding in the Denver area. After welcoming her first daughter into the world in 2015, Brittani was catapulted into the world of motherhood and postpartum. Those days were some of the hardest, loneliest, uncertain, and most beautiful times of her life. She struggled with feeding her sweet daughter, and quickly learned how the complexities of infant feeding and mental health were intertwined. After seeking help from an IBCLC, she quickly became drawn to the idea of supporting families through their own feeding struggles. Brittani loves walking alongside families in their journeys to and through parenthood. Her approach is warm, kind, and driven to empowering families to follow and trust their instincts. She recognizes the honor it is to be invited to work with families in such a joyous and challenging part of their lives. Brittani specializes in complex feeding scenarios such as clinical low supply, feeding the NICU graduate, bottle refusal, and oral dysfunction. You can find her in the office, sharing a space with the OWN Your Pelvic Health team. When she isn't geeking out on all things infant feeding, Brittani enjoys spending time in the sunshine, with her husband and two sweet daughters, and drinking all the coffee.</image:title>

      <image:title>Raia Bio - Raia Allen-Carrico</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Raia Allen-Carrico. I am a certified Doula through Rocky Mountain Doula, CAPPA trained Postpartum Doula, a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and a certified VBAC specialist (VBAC Link). I live and work in the Denver metro area. I serve families at hospitals, birth centers, and home births in Denver and surrounding areas. I am very passionate about incorporating movement for labor pain management and minimizing interventions. Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated with pregnancy, birth, and everything child-care-related. In 2021, I became a personal trainer and specialized in pre/post-natal training. Once I learned about birth doulas, the rest was history! Guiding families through this sacred time is truly my calling. I love using my knowledge of anatomy and movement to aid in labor progression and pain management. I believe that with proper movement, education, and support, women can learn to trust their bodies and understand they were meant for birth. My birth philosophy is about preparing and supporting a woman's mind, body, and soul. Birth can be a powerful and transformative experience that every family should have access to. This is a family’s opportunity to have the birth they've always imagined and relish in the strength that was there all along.</image:caption>

In Emily’s mind, birth is all about diving into the innate, primal instincts we all have. She will help you enjoy the blissful moments of labor, breathe through the intense times, and guide you with non judgmental, trauma-informed care. With a background as a trained crisis counselor, EMT, and perinatal researcher, Emily is a grounding presence that supports your natural strengths. She loves encouraging moms to connect with themselves and their bodies, while tuning into that animalistic side of being a human. While working with Emily, you will be filled with sensations of safety, comfort, and joy! In the birth space, Emily shines using her hands for massage and counter-pressures. She loves to help you get into a rhythm of movement and breath. <image:title>Mariette Bio - Mariette Chao (She/Her)</image:title>
<image:caption>Mariette is a DONA trained and certified birth doula and has supported families that are starting and growing in all sorts of ways: cesarean sections, vaginal births, induced births, unmedicated, and VBACs (vaginal birth after cesarean). Mariette loves to support doula clients who plan to deliver at any hospital or birth center in the Denver metro area (including the closest northern and western suburbs). Mariette is a VBAC mom of two, and points to the compassionate and direct work of her doula as the primary reason she was able to have a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). Previous clients have noted that joy and authenticity govern the work of Mariette- she attempts to help everyone focus on the beauty of this massive moment in the life of a family and on the honest reality of the sometimes funny, sometimes harrowing moments that birth brings in its wake. She tries to keep a practical focus on the reality of birth. Mariette relies on her grounding and training as a therapist in the birthing space as well- bringing a calm energy and attempting to validate, normalize, and translate what is happening in the moment- helping birthing people and their partners to find understanding and a steady mindful attention on what they are laboring to do. Mariette believes that your mind is an extremely powerful “muscle” in the birthing room. Mariette loves to work as a team with any other birthing partner and help them to also feel empowered to know exactly how to connect and support their loved one as they birth. Mariette will provide you with specific and comprehensive education, emotional support, physical knowledge and support, and experience. Her hope is that you will find joy in the entirety of your birthing experience. Mariette is also a mental health therapist (LCSW) with a virtual-only private practice and licensed in CO and PA. Her education includes a Masters of Clinical Social Work from New York University and on-the-job training with a Yale University based model of family therapy. Her ongoing education has included focused work in: Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Adult ADHD, The Effects of Shame, Family and Couples Therapy, Grief Processing, Executive Coaching, and Therapeutic Writing. If you are looking for someone to help you process one of life’s many transitions, reach out to Mariette. She would love to support you.</image:caption>

<image:title>Angela Bio - Dr. Angela Delos Santos, PT, DPT</image:title>
<image:caption>Angela is a doctor of physical therapy specializing in pelvic health. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. There, she was recognized as Doctor of Physical Therapy Student of the Year by both her program and the American Physical Therapy Association for her outstanding contributions to the profession, including founding the Pelvic Health Student Interest Group to increase awareness and promote discussion of the specialty among students, providers, and the broader community. Angela’s path into healthcare was inspired by her background as a yoga instructor and her fascination with human movement. As she delved more into the profession, she discovered she was particularly drawn to pelvic physical therapy and its transformative impact on patients’ lives. Recognizing the stigma surrounding pelvic health, she is committed to dismantling these barriers to provide truly holistic care that optimizes quality of life - from foundational daily activities to peak recreational performance. Her patient-centered approach to care emphasizes education, empowerment, and creating sustainable solutions that help people feel confident and capable in their bodies. As an endurance athlete herself, Angela has a special interest working with runners and other athletes, focusing on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and safe return to sport. She is most passionate about the combination of orthopedics and pelvic health in the recreational realm. She completed her doctorate internship at a nationally renowned sports medicine clinic, fortifying her skills in both orthopedic and pelvic health treatments. She has also served as a key speaker on orthopedic and pelvic health topics in various academic and professional settings. Driven by curiosity, passion, and strong will to provide the best for her patients, Angela continues to pursue on-going training and education including her certification in dry needling. In her free time, Angela is an active member of local running clubs and is often training for her next marathon. She also loves to bake, travel, and unwind with a good book and cup of tea.</image:caption>

<image:title>Kylie Bio - Dr. Kylie McElrath, PT, DPT</image:title>
<image:caption>Kylie received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. During her graduate training, she developed a strong passion for pelvic health and became particularly interested in addressing the gaps and disparities that exist in pelvic healthcare. She enjoyed educating her peers and advocating for greater awareness and understanding of pelvic floor conditions. Having personally experienced pelvic floor dysfunction, Kylie understands that healing is often complex, personal, and not one-size-fits-all. This lived experience allows her to approach care with empathy, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s journey. She believes that education is empowering, and when people feel informed, supported, and heard, confidence grows and meaningful progress follows. Outside of the clinic, Kylie enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, crocheting whimsical little animals, painting, and spending time outdoors. She brings the same creativity, warmth, and curiosity to her work with patients.</image:caption>
