Dr. Emma Long, PT, DPT

Emma is a doctor of physical therapy specializing in pelvic health. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and later earned her doctorate from the University of Southern California. Emma has experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction in all genders, but is most passionate about women’s health.

Emma found her passion in treating pelvic floor dysfunction after seeing the profound impact on someone's quality of life. She takes a trauma-informed, whole-person approach. Her goal is to get to the root cause of symptoms in order to find a sustainable solution and create lasting change. Emma strives to create a safe, collaborative space that empowers patients on their recovery journey.

She understands navigating pelvic floor dysfunction can sometimes feel embarrassing or scary, so she believes in the importance of helping patients understand their bodies better to reconnect with themselves. She takes an active listening approach so her patients always feel seen, heard, and supported during their healing process.

In her free time, you’ll find Emma spending time with her husband and two dogs, exercising, or reading a good novel. She also enjoys hobbies including photography and completing escape room puzzles with her husband (they are at 80 rooms and counting!).
