Dr. Nicole McQuade, PT, DPT
Hi, I’m Dr. Nicole McQuade PT, DPT, a pediatric physical therapist. After finishing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I worked in an outpatient setting before ultimately deciding to focus on pediatrics. I have spent the past 5 years working in home health with children with a variety of diagnoses, ages 0-18 years. I am passionate about reducing the stress that revolves around gross motor development and giving parents bite sized strategies to aid in the improvement of their babies’ development.
After the birth of my first child in the heart of 2020, we struggled with significant oral ties and breastfeeding challenges contributing to parent overwhelm. Although I had access to many providers and a solid background in pediatrics, I did not know who to turn to and where to look for help. After piecing together an interdisciplinary team, my son’s feeding challenges resolved.
My second son was born in 2022 with Torticollis. After talking with many other parents, I quickly realized how common these concerns were leaving families frustrated and overwhelmed with feeding challenges and overall gross motor delay. I decided to make it my mission to help improve the well-being of babies as well as ease some of the stress in the early stages of parenthood. My background as a pediatric physical therapist and my experience as a mom has led to my passion for working with babies with Torticollis, Plagiocephaly and gross motor delays as well as educating the community about the importance of early intervention and easing milestone anxiety. I can’t wait to work with you and your family!
